Be it winters where we all love to get warm and feel cozy under the rays of the sun or summers where we try to escape from the hotty sun rays, in both the seasons the excess exposure to sun rays may lead to sunburns. That is why application of sunscreen is emphasized the most whenever you step outside or sit inside where rays are reaching out to you, be it directly or peeping through the glass door.
If you are usually affected with sunburns, then regular application of aloe vera gel will help to soothe the skin and ease the discomfort. Aloe is aggrandized with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, soothing and healing properties that keeps the skin peeling from the sun damage. The all-rounder aloe vera plant has the elements that not only treats the sun burns but also moisturizes the skin and aids healing.
Either grow aloe vera plant in your backyard or buy the aloe gel directly from the cosmetic store. Squeeze out the gel and apply directly onto the sunburn. It may tingle a bit as aloe is augmented with stringent properties as well. If you buy the gel from the store, look for the one that is also blended with vitamin E and dab on the affected area.
